Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, a ~1-year-old, 19lb bundle of love with a lot of Chihuahua in his DNA! He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely adores his squeaky toys. Duncan thrives on gentle petting and plenty of attention, and he's a quiet and well-behaved companion. He seems to be pretty well house-trained and walks nicely on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training to perfect his skills.

Ideal Home

Duncan would do best in a home without children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols and typically tests negative within 4 to 6 months post-treatment.

Training & Support

While Duncan is generally well-behaved and shows good house-training, he could use a bit more guidance with leash walking.
