Raisin

Meet Raisin! This sweet, calm boy is so grateful to be safe. He was found disoriented and alone, and after a search for his owners yielded no results, he came to us for the care he desperately needed. Raisin is a small dog who loves to snuggle close and has a heart full of love to give.

Raisin would thrive in a gentle, loving home that will cherish him and help him feel secure.

Ongoing Health

Raisin is heartworm negative after completing treatment. He has a cloudy left eye that is improving with daily drops. He also has a few compressed vertebrae that make his walk a bit stiff, but he is otherwise happy and affectionate.

Training & Support

Raisin is happy and affectionate, and clearly grateful to be safe. He's ready for a home that will shower him with love and patience.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange for flight companions (flight angels) to transport our dogs to the US and Canada from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. Volunteers have successfully helped bring dogs to adopters at the border, which remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
