Benji arrived at the shelter in rough shape and severely underweight, but despite his difficult past, his brave spirit shines through. He is currently on a journey toward healing, and he needs a special home that can provide the stability and love he truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Benji requires an adult-only home with no children. He also needs a house with a bit of space to heal properly, meaning he is not suited for apartment or condo living. His ideal adopter will be an experienced dog owner who is fully committed to his ongoing care.

Ongoing Health

Benji arrived at the shelter severely underweight and is on a journey toward healing and recovery. His ongoing care includes medical follow-ups and managing his diet to help him safely gain strength back at a healthy pace.

Benji is very food motivated, which will be an incredible tool for his future family, making training, bonding, and building his confidence a much smoother and more rewarding process.
