Raisin

Raisin is a sweet boy who came to us with his brother, Scout. They were in a hoarding situation and hadn't had much positive interaction with people. We've spent months building their trust, and they are now comfortable around people and other dogs. Raisin is a food-motivated pup who is crate-trained and takes treats gently. He's not food aggressive and loves to play! Raisin can be a bit sensitive to change and gets stressed more easily. These two boys would do best if they could be rehomed together.

Ideal Home

Raisin would do best in a home that can offer patience and understanding as he continues to gain confidence. He thrives with positive reinforcement and a Fear Free approach is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Raisin is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Raisin is crate trained and a gentle treat taker. He is not food aggressive and enjoys running around. He is still learning to adjust to new situations and can get stressed easily. Applicants living in San Diego County will be expected to attend training sessions to help build a strong bond with Raisin. If you live outside of San Diego County, you must have an approved trainer you will be working with.
