Aurora

Aurora is a 5-month-old, 4 1/2-pound sweetheart who will likely stay small, as her mom is only 7-8 pounds. She's a bit on the skittish side, which is understandable given she came from a hoarding situation and was brought into rescue in December 2025. Aurora is a typical puppy who will need guidance as she learns to chew, bark, and become house trained.

Ideal Home

Aurora needs a home with another small dog, ideally under 5 years old, to play with and learn from. She would not do well in a home with large breed dogs, but she is okay with cats. A securely fenced yard made of chain-link, wood, or metal is also a must.

Ongoing Health

Aurora has been spayed, vaccinated 3 times, microchipped, and dewormed. She is also potty pad trained.

Training & Support

As a puppy from a hoarding situation, Aurora will need patience and consistency with her training. She will likely chew and bark, and is not yet house trained. Providing her with a dedicated playmate (another small dog) will be incredibly beneficial for her confidence and socialization.
