Burt is an adorable little guy, about 30 pounds, who clearly got a dose of Dachshund in his mix, making him long in the body and a bit short on the legs. He's absolutely irresistible with his stunning red coat and soulful eyes! Burt has a loving, gentle personality and thrives on being around people. He's great with kids, dogs, and even cats, making him a wonderful fit for a family or a home with furry friends already in place. He's the kind of dog people stop and ask about! We believe Burt is potty trained but cannot guarantee it. He is smart and learns quickly.

Burt is neutered, heartworm negative, on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

While we believe Burt is potty trained, it's not guaranteed. He is a smart boy who learns quickly and will likely pick up on any new routines with ease.

• Herculaneum (south of St. Louis) - July 17th, Friday evening

Illinois:

• Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - July 17th, Friday evening
• Springfield - July 17th, Friday evening
• Bloomington / Normal - July 17th, Friday evening
• Oglesby - July 18th, Saturday morning
• Roscoe - July 18th, Saturday morning

Wisconsin:

• Sun Prairie - July 18th, Saturday late morning
• Fond du Lac - July 18th, Saturday early afternoon

Additional Notes:

• Green Bay area adopters will meet in Fond du Lac.
• Davenport area adopters will meet in Oglesby or Roscoe.
• Milwaukee adopters will meet in Sun Prairie or Fond du Lac.
