Meet Hachi!
Hachi is an estimated 2-year-old, 50lb bundle of resilience and love. He spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel, rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Hachi has a heart of gold and is a total love bug who adores people. He greets life with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit, making friends with everyone he meets. He's wonderful with children and, after slow introductions, can do well with confident dogs, though he sometimes tries to assert dominance with more timid pups. Hachi cherishes the simple things like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family, things he never experienced before his rescue. He's crate trained, potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. Hachi is a medium-energy dog, happy to go on adventures or relax by your side. He's still working on gaining weight and hopes to reach his ideal weight of around 60 lbs with plenty of treats!
Ideal Home
