Meet Takis, also affectionately known as Taquito! This lovely 18-month-old Heeler mix is a compact beauty, weighing in at just under 30 lbs. Despite her recent experience as a new mom to 8 puppies, Takis is now ready to enjoy life to the fullest and is looking for her forever family. She's been doing wonderfully with other dogs, showing a playful spirit and a great appreciation for toys – she loves to play without destroying them! Her gentle nature extends to the resident cats, whom she greets with a polite sniff before moving on. Takis is a gem in the house, being fully housebroken, a non-chewer, rarely barks, and not a messy drinker. She's an active girl who enjoys her walks and is already mastering leash manners.

Ideal Home

Takis would love a home where she can be her playful and loving self. She's shown to be great with other dogs and even polite with cats, so a multi-pet household could be a great fit!

Training & Support

Takis is a smart cookie and is already learning basic commands like sit, stay, come, and off. She responds enthusiastically to treats and praise, making training a rewarding experience.
