Mercedes

Mercedes is a sweet, loving senior girl who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter when her owner became homeless during Hurricane Helene. Though her owner hoped to be reunited, circumstances didn't allow it, and she entrusted us to find Mercedes a wonderful new home. While Mercedes previously lived with a small poodle mix, she seems to prefer being an only dog now. She enjoys senior kibble, is completely housetrained and crate trained, and knows basic obedience. Mercedes is not destructive when left to her own devices and doesn't show much interest in toys, but she absolutely loves treats! She's a quiet girl who will let you know when she needs to go outside, and she walks beautifully on a leash.

Ideal Home

Mercedes seems to do best as an only dog. We do not know how she would do with cats.

Ongoing Health

Mercedes is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Mercedes is well-trained, housetrained, and crate trained. She knows basic obedience and is not destructive. She loves treats and would likely respond well to positive reinforcement training.
