Sadie is a sweet girl who takes a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she blossoms in the most wonderful ways. She arrived at our care on December 27, 2025, after being surrendered by her owner. Sadie can be a bit shy with new people, especially when it comes to handling, and she thrives when interactions are slow and gentle. She's made fantastic progress, even learning to accept her collar with increasing comfort! She enjoys the company of calm, friendly dogs, which has helped her gain confidence. Sadie is happy to engage in play, as long as things remain easygoing, and she's adept at communicating her needs for space without causing conflict. Her energy level is gentle and balanced; she's not demanding and prefers a comfortable pace. Sadie can sometimes be a bit elusive if she's feeling unsure, but this is a sign she needs a little patience and reassurance, not stubbornness.
