Karen

Karen is a sweet 7-year-old lady who weighs about 25lbs and has plenty of spunk. She loves to be with her people, whether it's on a lap or simply lying beside you on the sofa. After being rescued from a hoarding situation, Karen has come a long way in building her confidence and trust. She needs a little time to warm up to new people, but with a few minutes and some tasty treats, she'll be your best friend! Karen walks well on a leash and enjoys her time in a fenced-in yard, where she can happily chase squirrels and run around.

Ideal Home

Karen would do best in a home where she isn't left alone for long periods, making a work-from-home or retired adopter ideal. She also thrives with other dogs around and does not do well as an only dog.

Ongoing Health

Karen's adoption fee of $295.00 includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Karen is housebroken and will use potty pads if needed. She is not a fan of crates and sleeps soundly without one. She needs a little encouragement with treats to warm up to new people.

• We are a 100% foster-based rescue, and all our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
