Daffy is a charming 2-year-old, 65-pound Plott Hound Mix with a spirit as resilient as his heartwarming rescue story. He was saved from the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, just in the nick of time. Thanks to Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue and his amazing foster mom, Daffy has a second chance at life and is eagerly awaiting his furever family. Daffy is a fun-loving and playful guy who thrives on activity and companionship. He absolutely adores other dogs and even attends doggy daycare, where he's made the honor roll! He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, using his crate as a safe space for meals. Daffy knows his name, comes when called, and enjoys playing fetch and spending time with his person.
Ideal Home
Daffy would do best in a home with other playful dogs and an active family who can match his energy. Because of his size and enthusiasm, he'd be a better fit for a home with children over 10, as he sometimes doesn't realize his strength when excited.

Daffy is neutered and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daffy is still learning leash manners and tends to pull and zigzag, but he's eager to learn with guidance. When left unsupervised, he may "relocate" household items to the yard, so crating him while you're away is recommended.

Transporation
Daffy is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS. He can be transported to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be scheduled for the next available transport once approved.
