About Bear

Bear is a sweet and handsome boy who was surrendered to our care due to his owner's health. He's approximately 4.5 years old and weighs over 100 pounds, but don't let his size fool you – he's a gentle giant! Bear knows several commands, including "sit," "come," "heel," and "stay" (when he feels like being a good listener!). He walks well on a leash, absolutely loves playing fetch, and is a friendly companion who makes a great family dog. Bear gets along well with female dogs and is also content being the only dog in the household.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home where he can be an active part of the family. He enjoys playing ball and being a good companion.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention. He will receive a health exam and a certificate from a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bear is already familiar with several commands and walks well on a leash. His love for playing ball makes him eager to please, which will be a great asset in continued training.
