Angus is a 6-month-old, 60+ lb Bullmastiff mix who is ready to bring a whole lot of love and a touch of happy chaos to your home. He was found wandering near a creek and has since been vetted and is eager to find his forever family. Angus is the ultimate puppy, a big, goofy toddler in a rapidly growing giant body. He’s actively learning leash manners, though he currently sees the leash as a fun toy, so expect some enthusiastic tugging during walks as he continues his training. Because he's still a baby, he loves to explore with his mouth and is eager to play with other dogs, though he's still learning to manage his impressive size and strength. He's a bit too energetic for cats and would do best in an active household with older children who can match his playful spirit. Angus is already doggie-door trained and may need a little patience to become fully housebroken in a new environment. He loves car rides but will need a secure harness or crate to prevent him from becoming the ultimate co-pilot disruptor!
Ideal Home
Angus is looking for an active family with a well-fenced yard and plenty of time for playtime, training, and adventures. He is too energetic for feline friends and would do best in a home with older children due to his size and bouncy puppy nature.
Ongoing Health
Angus is healthy, happy, and ready to go home. He is neutered, up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines (including Rabies and Bordetella), heartworm negative, microchipped, and current on flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite preventatives.
Training & Support
Angus is working on his leash manners and is still exploring the world with his mouth due to his age. He is doggie-door trained but may need some patience to be fully housebroken. He needs proper restraint in vehicles as he can be a co-pilot disruptor.
