He loves chasing balls, exploring the great outdoors, and the exhilaration of a good run. At 62 pounds, he's a big boy with an even bigger heart, and he's happiest when he's by your side.

Ideal Home

Harrison would do best in a home with no small children, as their unpredictable movements and energy can overwhelm him. He is not compatible with cats. His perfect home will be one where he’s the center of attention and he’s the only pet. A loving, patient family who understands his quirks and is eager to celebrate his many wonderful qualities is exactly what Harrison needs.

Harrison has mastered commands like sit, paw, come, and no, thanks to his formal obedience training. He is house-trained and crate-trained. Harrison feels uneasy in tight spaces or around large objects like boxes, and in moments of high stress, he has bitten when he felt cornered or overwhelmed. These reactions stem from fear and discomfort rather than malice. He needs a caregiver who recognizes his triggers, provides him with space, and reassures him so he can feel safe and secure.
