Binx is a 1-year-old, 70-pound, neutered male Staffordshire Terrier mix who was found wandering near his foster home in Houston, Texas. It's believed he may have been intentionally abandoned, but luckily for him, he found his way to safety! Binx is a delightful mix of playful energy and affectionate snuggles. He's a big personality in a handsome package, always ready to make you smile with his goofy antics.
When it's time to play, Binx is all in! He loves chasing toys, playing with other dogs his size, and entertaining himself by tossing toys in the air and bucking around. Interactive toys and anything that crinkles are his favorites. After some playtime, he's happiest curled up on the couch, enjoying pets and giving kisses. Binx is a smart boy who already knows "sit," "shake," and "no," and he learns new things quickly. He particularly enjoys being brushed and will politely paw at you if the petting stops too soon! His foster family describes him as affectionate, playful, curious, silly, and incredibly loyal. He has some adorable quirks, like thinking he's a lap dog and making the funniest faces when excited, with his entire body wiggling in joy.
Ideal Home
Binx would do best in a home with older children (10+) or adults who understand and can respect his need for a slow introduction process. He thrives with well-balanced dogs who approach him calmly, allowing him to become best friends. A fenced yard and a family who enjoys moderate activity followed by plenty of couch snuggles would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Binx is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Binx can be cautious around unfamiliar people, especially tall men, and may need a few introductions before feeling comfortable. Like many dogs who haven't always had stability, he needs a family willing to give him patience and time to adjust. With patience, consistency, and love, this goofy, cuddly boy will reward his family with endless laughs, loyalty, and companionship.
