LUDO!

🎶 Baby ba-LUDO, oh baby ba-LUDO 🎶

Ludo is a 6-month-old English Bulldog with all the classic traits: he's wrinkly, stubborn, adorable, loving, food-motivated, and yes, stubborn again! He's a sweet boy who loves to chew on toys (and sometimes things that aren't toys). He's working hard on his potty training and has a peculiar interest in pedicures – he's got a real foot fetish!

Ideal Home

We're looking for someone who will help Ludo maintain a healthy weight, as this is crucial for his heart and legs. You'll need to be comfortable with him dreaming of a future in the nail salon business.

Ongoing Health

Ludo has a congenital heart condition called a Tetralogy of Fallot (TET). While this sounds serious, his heart has adapted for now. A cardiologist has assured us that with regular echocardiograms and bloodwork, he can live a normal life. He also has hyperextending front "wrists" and a luxating patella on his back right leg that will require correction at some point. His nasal passages and soft palate have already been surgically corrected. He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Ludo is diligently working on potty training. He needs someone who will monitor him closely, especially in cold weather, and ensure he does his business outside. He also requires someone who is okay with his foster mom, Sara-Friend, remaining a part of his life.
