Waverly

Waverly is a sweet and shy young lady who is a Malinois and Heeler mix with a dash of Poodle and Australian Shepherd thrown in for good measure! She's still finding her confidence, especially around new people, places, and things. She's currently going through adolescence and would blossom with a change of scenery and a family who understands her breed's characteristics. Waverly is an observer who takes her time to warm up and finds comfort in the presence of another confident, social dog. She's working on her leash manners and tends to walk a bit behind her handler, but with consistent training and positive reinforcement, she'll learn to walk with more confidence.

Ideal Home

Waverly needs a physical fenced yard, as she's not suited for apartment living. She would do best in a home with experienced owners who understand her breed traits. A family with older children, less commotion, and another dog to show her the ropes would be a perfect fit. She may also be able to live with a dog-friendly cat if introduced slowly and properly.

Ongoing Health

Waverly is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Waverly is still learning leash manners and can be shy with new experiences. She gains confidence from having another dog by her side and will benefit greatly from ongoing training and positive reinforcement to help her blossom.
