Meet Mira, a fluffy Great Pyrenees girl who is part polar bear cub, part cuddle bug, and part tiny tornado with paws! Mira's story began when she was abandoned with her sisters on the side of a rural road. Thankfully, she's now getting the second chance she deserves.
At first, Mira can be a little shy in new situations, but once she feels safe, her sweet and playful personality shines through. She loves cuddles, pets, snacks, toys, and being close to her people and foster dog siblings. Mira is a classic Great Pyrenees puppy who plays hard, naps hard, and has a special fondness for stuffed toys and car rides. She's also mastered the art of using her giant puppy paws to demand attention.
Mira is incredibly sweet with other dogs, approaching them with a wagging tail and lots of kisses. While she hasn't met cats yet, she has shown a gentle and submissive personality overall. She would likely do well with children too, thanks to her playful and loving disposition.
Ideal Home
Mira would thrive in a home that understands and can accommodate the needs of a Great Pyrenees. A secure, tall fence is highly recommended, as this breed is known for wandering.
Ongoing Health
Mira is a puppy and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. She has also been spayed.
Training & Support
Mira is still learning important puppy skills like crate training, potty training, and leash manners. She occasionally has excited or nervous pees, which is typical for a puppy. Like any Great Pyrenees, she'll need a patient family committed to training and understanding the breed's quirks. Enrolling in a training program is highly encouraged to help her learn good manners and socialization. Remember, puppies require a lot of time and attention.
