Alaska is an adorable 8-month-old pup, weighing approximately 36lbs. We believe she might be a Pitty/Lab mix, but in rescue, it's always a fun guessing game! What's not a guess is how much she needs a loving home. She comes from an area with a critical need for adoptions, and by choosing Alaska, you're not only saving her life but also making space for another animal in need. Alaska is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. Her days are filled with fun playtime with her siblings and, of course, lots of puppy naps. Her routine of eat, sleep, and play is what puppyhood is all about! We're dedicated to providing you with excellent personality and behavioral insights to help ensure Alaska is the perfect match for your family. You even have the option to meet her via a Facetime call before finalizing any paperwork!
Ideal Home
Alaska is still very young and will thrive in a home committed to her training, socialization, and the dedication that puppyhood requires. She's discovering the world daily, and a family that provides routine, structure, boundaries, and proper socialization will help shape her into a well-rounded adult dog. We require that adoptive families commit to crate training Alaska immediately upon her arrival home to assist with potty training, energy management, and her overall development.
Ongoing Health
Alaska comes fully vetted, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She will also receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, a heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration. A health certificate confirming she is fit for travel will be provided.
Training & Support
Alaska will need a family committed to ongoing training and socialization. We require that new families start crate training immediately to aid in potty training and energy management. Our team of trainers on staff assesses and works with all our animals, providing individualized behavior plans and support for crate training, potty training, and leash walking to prepare them for their future families.
