Dizzy

Hi there! I'm Dizzy, a delightful 1.5-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix who weighs in at a neat 35 pounds. The staff here think I'm just the best girl, and I'm so excited to show off my blossoming personality! I came to the shelter after being found sick with my two puppies, Dalton and Dumas, but I'm all better now and ready for my next adventure.

I absolutely love giving and receiving affection, and I'm a pro at walking on a leash. Get ready for some zoomies when you introduce me to a tennis ball – I can't resist! I also get along well with other dogs here, though I do tend to steer clear of Pete. The staff thinks he might remind me a bit too much of my puppy daddy. My nose leads me on exciting explorations around the yard, and I have the funniest snorts that are sure to make you smile. Baths are no problem for me, and I was a super trooper when I needed to get mats brushed out of my fur. I'm looking for a home where I can simply be a great dog, because I'm happy to be wherever you are!

Training & Support

I walk well on leash and am house-trained. I enjoy playing with tennis balls and get along with other dogs, but I do have a specific reason to avoid a dog named Pete.
