Meet Barry White! This handsome 7-month-old Pit Bull/Lab mix is a true charmer, embodying coolness, cuddliness, and a whole lot of goofiness. Barry has a heart full of love, a face perfect for showering you with kisses, and a personality guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. With his expressive puppy eyes, adorable smile, and floppy ears, Barry has perfected the art of looking at people like they're the most amazing things he's ever seen – and in his eyes, they truly are!
Ideal Home
Barry would love a home where he can be close to his people, leaning on them, climbing into laps, and giving lots of kisses. He enjoys leaning against you while soaking up attention, gazing up at you with pure contentment. While he's a fantastic cuddle bug, he's also still a puppy and enjoys playtime, bouncing around with toys, wrestling with dog friends, or going for joyful zoomies. He's a balanced boy, playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being clingy, and active enough for adventures but relaxed enough for couch snuggles. Barry gets along well with other dogs but prefers to take his time making friends. He also showed sweet and respectful behavior when meeting a cat and has been incredibly loving, gentle, and respectful around teenagers.

Training & Support
Barry is still working on leash walking, as he finds many things more interesting than polite leash manners. However, he is young, eager to learn, and very food motivated, making this an excellent time to continue building his confidence and skills. He has also had behavior assessments and modification as needed with trainers on staff.

Barry is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
