Meet Pumpkin, a sweet Malinois mix who is about 1 year old. Pumpkin was rescued from a high-kill shelter in LA with her sister when she was just 9 months old. She arrived very fearful and shut down, weighing only 24 lbs. It took time and patience, but with the help of her foster siblings, Pumpkin is learning to trust and feel safe. She absolutely adores other dogs and finds comfort in their presence, looking to them as role models and security. While still shy around people, Pumpkin is incredibly loyal and loving once she feels secure. She is looking for a home that will appreciate her journey and celebrate her progress.
