Diva is a spirited 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix, currently around 35 pounds, who is brimming with affection and a zest for life! She's a playful, outgoing girl with a tail that's always wagging, ready to shower her new family with love. Diva adores running, playing, and is always up for a game of chase, especially with a canine friend who can keep up with her energetic spirit. While she's curious about cats and might try to sneak a bite of their food, she generally ignores them. Diva hasn't lived with children before, but her foster believes her gentle and affectionate nature would make her a wonderful companion for kids, particularly those who can help manage her enthusiasm and keep an eye on their snacks! She’s also learning to be more comfortable with car rides and will need continued patience and positive experiences to build her confidence on longer journeys. Diva has a unique quirk – when corrected, she lets out a charming howl, as if she's having a conversation, which is sure to bring a smile to your face!
Ideal Home
Diva would thrive in a home where someone is often present to provide the structure, love, and activity she craves. She'd do best with a family that enjoys regular walks and plenty of playtime. A home with another dog who matches her playful energy would be ideal, as she loves romping with her canine pals.
Ongoing Health
Diva is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Diva is crate trained and does well in her crate for short periods, like during meals or when her foster is away. She is very food motivated and eager to learn, but she should be fed separately from other pets to avoid any food-related squabbles. She’s also a good sharer when it comes to toys. Her endearing vocalizations when corrected are a funny quirk that comes with her charming personality.
