Latte is a beautiful 1-year-old, 52-pound Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix who is a bundle of energy and affection! She's a young dog who is really blossoming in her foster home with consistent structure and positive reinforcement. Latte is incredibly treat-motivated and eager to please, making her a joy to train. She already knows "sit" and "down," and is working on her leash manners. While she can be a bit nervous in new environments, her foster mom is helping her build confidence by exploring new places. She doesn't react to people or other dogs she passes on walks.
Latte has shown great improvement since arriving in rescue and is a playful companion for other dogs. She's also been gentle around small children and babies. Above all, Latte is a loving and affectionate dog who truly wants to be a good girl. With her eagerness to learn and loving nature, she'll make a wonderful companion for an active family ready to help her continue to grow into the amazing dog she's becoming!
Ideal Home
Latte is a high-energy girl who would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and ongoing training. She would love to have another active dog friend to play with. If she's the only dog in the home, she'll need daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and fulfilled.
Ongoing Health
Latte is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is fully house-trained and does well in her crate for up to four hours at a time. She shows no signs of separation anxiety.
Training & Support
Latte is continuing to work on her leash manners and building confidence in new environments. Her foster family is actively working on this by taking her to new places.
