Meet Fischer!

Sometimes the best dogs seem to appear exactly where they are meant to be, and that is exactly what happened with Fischer. This handsome shepherd boy showed up looking for help, and thankfully, the right people stepped in to keep him safe until rescue could help. We were lucky enough to find an amazing foster family that is very shepherd-savvy, and Fischer settled right in like he knew he was finally safe. And honestly? This boy is STUNNING. Fischer is easily one of the most handsome dogs we have ever had wander into our rescue! Sadly, we soon learned he had been roaming the area for quite some time. With no microchip, no collar, and no owner ever coming forward, we had to make the heartbreaking assumption that he had been abandoned. But those days are behind him now.

Fischer is about 2 years old and weighs around 80 pounds.

Ideal Home

Fischer needs a secure fenced yard, lots of love, and people who will appreciate just how special he is.

Ongoing Health

Fischer is fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Training & Support

Fischer has already attended obedience training to work on his leash manners and he is doing fantastic. His foster family says he absolutely LOVES other dogs and thrives having canine friends to play with. Watching him run and play in the fenced yard with his foster siblings has truly been a joy.
