Velveeta is a 33-pound brindle beauty whose life didn't exactly start out smooth. She was found abandoned in the woods of Alabama suffering from severe demodectic mange, a skin condition that had left her nearly hairless, uncomfortable, and looking nothing like the gorgeous girl she was always meant to be. Thankfully, with proper care and nutrition, and a whole lot of TLC thanks to her amazing foster mom in Alabama, Velveeta made an incredible recovery. Today, her beautiful brindle coat is soft and healthy, and a reminder of just how far she's come. Velveeta is the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the loudest in the room to win you over. She's sweet, gentle, and happiest soaking up affection from people she trusts. Watching her confidence continue to grow has been one of our favorite transformations. She's proof that sometimes life's greatest glow-ups just need a little patience and love. Now all that's missing is a family to call her own. If you've been searching for a dog who's equal parts resilient, adorable, and impossible not to love, Velveeta may just be the comfort food your heart has been craving.
