Bud

Meet Bud, a 2-year-old miniature poodle mix with a big personality packed into a small body! He’s the kind of dog who instantly makes himself at home, especially if there’s a cozy spot on the couch beside you. Bud is outgoing, playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s curled up in your lap soaking up attention. He loves to play and go on adventures, but is also calm enough to settle in nicely for cuddle time afterward. One of Bud’s sweetest qualities is how polite he is with other dogs; he plays beautifully and reads their cues very well. He has also done wonderfully around children, showing a gentle and friendly nature. Bud appears to be mostly cat friendly, though slow introductions and supervision are recommended.

Bud is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date on all preventions.

Training & Support

Bud is fully housebroken and crate trained for up to four hours. While he may pull a bit on leash when he spots another dog, he’s very redirectable and eager to learn, making continued leash training very manageable. Like many young dogs, Bud is still building confidence with car rides and can get a little anxious during them, but he's already making progress with patience and positive experiences.

Transporation

Bud is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can be transported out of state to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
