Meet Nala, your Sweet, Silly Little Shadow! Nala is a 20lb Chihuahua mix with an estimated birthday of February 12, 2023. She spent weeks on the streets, creating a makeshift home out of a cardboard box and blankets, often following people and especially children, just hoping to be chosen. Now safe and thriving in foster care, Nala is ready to find the forever home she deserves. She's full of personality, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy. She loves her toys and will even play fetch by herself, tossing them in the air!
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home that enjoys a fun, affectionate companion and is committed to continuing to build her confidence. While another dog would be a bonus, it's not required.
Ongoing Health
Nala is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Nala is 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. She already knows "sit" and "crate," and is currently working on "stay" and "wait." She walks well on a leash but is still learning to stay focused as everything around her is so exciting. She can be a little shy at first, but with about 30 minutes to warm up on her own terms, she becomes your loyal little shadow, following you everywhere and soaking up all the love.

Transporation
Nala is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to your state or a neighboring state. Pickup locations for transported dogs may vary. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information.
