APOLLO GORDO

Meet Apollo Gordo – the blocky headed bull dog mix. Apollo Gordo came to the Shelter as an owner surrender after the previous guardian’s housing didn’t allow for dogs. Apollo Gordo has lived with other pittie-type dogs as well as kitties. He did well with both, but has not had much interest with dogs outside of the ones he lived with. Apollo Gordo has lived with children ages toddler to teens. Since arrival at the Shelter, Apollo Gordo has been social with staff and volunteers. He can be a bit stoic in nature which can make his body language hard to read at times. Any resident dogs should meet Apollo Gordo at the Shelter prior to adoption. Apollo Gordo is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
