Meet Ritz! Some dogs come into your life quietly... and then become your whole heart. That's Ritz.

This 7-year-old Akita mix is the kind of companion who simply wants to be near his people. Whether he's going for a walk, playing fetch, or relaxing at your feet after a long day, Ritz is happiest when spending time with the humans he loves. Ritz is smart, loyal, kennel and potty trained, and listens well to commands. He enjoys structure, understands routines, and truly wants to please the people he trusts. He has a calm confidence about him that makes you feel like you've known him forever.

Ideal Home

Like many loyal Akitas, Ritz forms strong bonds and would thrive as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. In return, he will give you unwavering loyalty, companionship, and plenty of moments to make you smile. If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.

Ongoing Health

Ritz is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped.

Training & Support

Ritz is kennel and potty trained and listens well to commands. He enjoys structure and routines.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $150 + tax.
• You can visit to meet adoptable animals Tuesday - Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM.
• You can fill out an application on the day you visit.
• Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
• Once approved, you will schedule a meet and greet with your family.
• If the meet and greet goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the same day.

Transporation

Ritz is available for adoption at our rescue facility.
