This striking black-and-white boy was once on the euthanasia list at a crowded Atlanta shelter, his future uncertain. After months of love, stability, and decompression in a dedicated foster home, West Coast's true personality has blossomed! Now, he's a happy, healthy, and incredibly loving companion who's more than ready to find his forever family.

West Coast is a "velvet hippo" - goofy, affectionate, and profoundly loyal. He loves cuddling on the couch, giving sweet kisses, and wiggling with joy when his people come home. He's fully house-trained and crate-trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay." West Coast has a perfect on/off switch: he's up for walks, yard play, and fetch, but equally happy to nap beside you as a world-class snuggle buddy.

Ideal Home

West Coast would love to be the sole recipient of your love and belly rubs - he prefers a home without other pets. He's been wonderful with respectful older children. He's dreaming of a family who will appreciate his journey and cherish his unwavering affection. A comfy couch, steady ear scratches, and a fenced-in yard for safe zoomies and sunbathing would make him happiest.
