Rufus

Rufus is a sweet 1.8-year-old mixed breed, likely with Lab and Cattle Dog in his lineage. He was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just in time and is now ready for his forever home. Rufus is a gentle soul with soulful eyes and a sturdy build. He's incredibly social and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, as well as farm animals, even showing affection to pigs through fences! Walks with Rufus are a delight as he's calm, attentive, and eager to please. He is a true lovebug who freely gives kisses and leans in for affection.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive but has already begun slow-kill treatment.

Training & Support

Rufus is wonderful on a leash and eager to please. His heartworm treatment is part of his healing journey, and with continued love and care, he will thrive.
