Rodger

Rodger is a handsome Bluetick Coonhound, about 1.5 years old and weighing around 47 lbs. He's a bundle of playful energy with a sweet side. Rodger can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he's a loving companion who showers his people with hugs. He adores belly rubs and can always be found playing with his tough toys. Rodger loves other dogs and is always eager for a playdate. He's house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is crate-trained, though he's not a big fan of his crate. He's also great with older kids and enjoys all the attention they give him.

Ideal Home

Rodger would love a home where he can have plenty of playtime and attention. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well in a household with them. He's also good with older children.

Ongoing Health

Rodger is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. He also comes with a Healthy Start Certificate from VCA Hospitals, which includes a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).

Training & Support

Rodger is house-trained and crate-trained. He is also provided with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org, which includes access to trainers and online resources to help him settle into his new home.

Transportation

Rodger is available for adoption at our Adoption Center, located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. Walk-ins are welcome during our adoption hours, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please bring any resident dogs and your whole family for a meet and greet.
