Stella (Dallas)

Meet Stella, a sweet 10-11-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier! Stella weighs around 10 pounds and is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. She comes from a breeding situation where she didn't have much socialization, so she's still learning to trust people. Stella is a bit timid at first, but with kindness and time, she's starting to get closer to her foster family, which is a huge step for this gentle girl.

Ideal Home

Stella would love a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. It would be wonderful if she could be adopted with her daughter, Hattie, who is also with CAMO Rescue. If that's not possible, Stella will need a home with another friendly small dog who can be a cuddle buddy and help her feel more comfortable as she learns to trust her new humans. For the safety of our small breed dogs, we do not place them in homes with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

Stella is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworms and has a negative fecal exam.

Training & Support

Stella is still learning to trust people due to her background. Patience and gentle encouragement will go a long way in helping her blossom. Providing a stable routine and a calm environment will be key to her success.
