Meet Walkabout Australian Kelpies and Rat Terriers. We show and raise imported Australian Kelpies and American Rat Terriers. Our Australian Kelpies have proven themselves in the ring and paddock. Our male Australian Kelpie (Boomer) attained multiple Best in Open Show titles in his very limited time in the ring. He earned 15 herding titles in 7 months in the paddock with AKC, AHBA and ASCA with multiple High In Trial wins. He was the first Australian Kelpie registered in AKC Foundation Stock Service back in 2017. He was the first AKC Australian Kelpie to attain his Certificate of Merit (Championsjip) in AKC FSS on November 2, 2025. Our bitch (Siana) won a Best In Open Show in her first show weekend. Her puppy from our first litter, Walkabout Waltzing Round The Billabong (Matilda) started her herding career in June of 2023 in Arizona. Multiple pups are starting their careers in conformation, agility, barn hunt, dock diving and other performance events. We do health testing on our breeding dogs and strive to provide our buyers with quality puppies that have wonderful temperaments, calm demeanor, but with the ability to perform when asked. 2022 was a banner year for us, as we had our long awaited first litter of Australian Kelpies. They were placed into show, agility, and pet homes. We look forward to seeing how they progress in the coming years. Our Rat Terriers have proven themselves in the ring with Grand Champions and Champions. They are health tested and come with a health guarantee. They live on 10 acres and are allowed to develop their natural prey drive. They are loyal, happy companions and we have owned them for over 25 years.
