Nala

Meet Nala, a beautiful 4-year-old, 50-pound Basenji mix with a loving heart and a playful spirit. She's already spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on all preventative care. Nala is kennel trained, potty trained, and settles in quietly after a day of fun. She's a big fan of playtime and would be thrilled to have another playful dog as a companion. Nala has also lived successfully with cats, so she's no stranger to sharing her home with feline friends.

While Nala is incredibly loyal and loving, she can be a bit cautious when meeting new people due to her past experiences. She's looking for a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time, kindness, and consistency. Once she opens up, her devotion is unmatched, and she'll be a truly special companion.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a quiet household with one or two adults who will give her the space and time to settle in at her own pace. A confident, playful canine companion would be a wonderful bonus, and she has a history of doing well with cats.

Training & Support

Nala has some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys. She will do best with an adopter who is experienced or willing to continue managing these behaviors appropriately.
