Kia

Kia is a resilient and hopeful husky who once had a loving home, complete with vaccinations, spaying, and good health. However, her family left her, and while the reasons are unknown, Kia only knew she was left behind. Thankfully, she came to us, and we couldn't imagine letting her go. She has a spark that shines through, embodying the true husky spirit.

Kia is an escape artist and doesn't need a fence because she'll find a way over or around it. She loves to go on adventures and often returns home at her own pace, unswayed by treats mid-stroll. She is incredibly treat-motivated and enjoys showing off her "sit" command for a tasty reward. Kia is the queen of zoomies, experiencing short bursts of energy with endless enthusiasm. She's also a cuddle bug who enjoys belly rubs and "smushy face" affection. While she gets along well with other dogs, she would also do well as an only dog, as she prefers her own space. What she truly craves is a home of her own where she can run, play, and be surrounded by love. This fall, Kia turns five, and her birthday wish is a forever home that will stay with her.
