Meet Arthur!
Arthur is a 5-year-old, 78-pound neutered Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is the perfect combination of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle companion. He was found roaming around a park and eventually made his way to a county shelter. Thankfully, a foster home stepped up to help him find his forever family! Arthur loves life and approaches every day with enthusiasm. He's a moderate energy guy who enjoys playtime, exploring, and spending time with his people. He's outgoing, playful, curious, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. Arthur enjoys toys, loves spending time with his people, and is always happy to soak up attention and affection. He thinks if he can fit, he can sit!
Ideal Home
Arthur would thrive in a home that provides regular exercise, structure, and plenty of opportunities to be part of the family. While he doesn't need another dog to be happy, he would do well with people who enjoy including their dog in everyday adventures. Because of his size and excitement, he could accidentally knock over a small child during play, so a family that understands his energetic nature and can provide appropriate outlets for his enthusiasm is recommended.
Ongoing Health
Arthur is up-to-date on vaccinations and neutered.
Training & Support
Arthur is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He settles nicely in his crate and has comfortably stayed crated for longer periods. He rides beautifully in the car and absolutely LOVES car rides! Arthur may pull at first on walks, but he settles into the routine and does well.
