Meet Leela!

Leela is a sweet 3-year-old, 11 lb Chihuahua mix who is looking for a patient and loving family to help her build her confidence. While she can be a little shy at first, Leela is making progress every day and has so much love to give. She is gentle, quiet, and loves snuggles and spending time close to her people. Once she trusts you, she becomes a very loyal companion. Leela feels happiest when she's with someone who makes her feel safe and protected. Although new situations can make her nervous, her brave side is coming out more and more each day.

Ideal Home

Leela is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to settle in and build trust. A family that celebrates her small victories and helps her gain confidence at her own pace would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

Leela is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Leela enjoys her daily walks and walks nicely on a leash. When she sees other dogs, she is usually a bit timid and prefers to quietly pass by them rather than interact. She is well-mannered in the house and generally keeps a low profile. Leela is still working on her house-training skills and will need consistency and patience as she continues learning.
