Nico

Nico is a 1-year-old, 12-pound Shih Tzu mix who was surrendered in heartbreaking condition. Severely matted, neglected, and clearly not cared for, Nico's past is a sad story of being given up when responsibility became too much. Yet, through it all, Nico's sweet, gentle, playful, and affectionate spirit shines through. He loves being around people, enjoys attention, and has a warm, trusting personality. He's currently a little underweight but will quickly thrive with proper care and love. Nico is the kind of dog who quietly becomes someone's whole heart – loyal, loving, and always happy to be by your side. He deserves a family who will truly cherish him and, in return, he will offer nothing but unconditional love.

Nico is currently slightly underweight but is expected to gain it back quickly with proper nutrition and care. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
