Lola

Lola is a 5-year-old German Shepherd with a heart of gold and a journey of healing. She arrived with some skin issues, but thanks to love and care, she's sporting a beautiful, fuzzy coat and is ready to blossom in a new home. Lola is a sensitive soul who is learning to navigate the world with more confidence. While she was initially fearful and prone to barking, she's now mastering calmer ways to handle new situations, like stepping away from things that make her uneasy. Her playful and bright personality truly shines when she feels safe. She's a fetch enthusiast, a good sport about returning the ball, and already knows commands like "sit" and "shake."

Ideal Home

Lola would do best in a home where she can continue to build her confidence with understanding and patience. Due to her history of reactivity and limited positive experiences with other animals, she would likely thrive as the only pet in the household. She may be a good fit for a home with children, provided there are proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Lola is on the mend from significant hair loss and skin inflammation and is now showing off a healthy coat. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lola will benefit from ongoing behavioral support to continue her progress. Her new family should be committed to positive reinforcement and helping her feel secure.
