Cocoa

Hi there! I'm Cocoa, a 5-year-old, 42-pound coonhound mix girl, ready for my true forever! Although my start in life wasn't the best, I've come so far since my rescue, and I can't wait for the next chapter! I'm house-trained and do great on my leash! I get along with other friendly dogs and I'm fine with dog-savvy cats. I'm still a little nervous from my past, so rambunctious children would probably be too much for me. Adults, however, I've found them to be great! It just takes a minute to get past my scared.

Ideal Home

My ideal forever home would include a fenced backyard, a friendly canine playmate, and people who are patient, loving and consistent. I've learned so much in the last few months. I can't imagine what potential is still inside.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained and do great on my leash! I'm still a little nervous from my past, so rambunctious children would probably be too much for me.

Transporation

We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. The adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out.
