Hi there, I'm Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who's looking for my forever home. I'm a little shy and timid when we first meet, but I warm up quickly and have a heart full of love to give. My foster mom loves my adorable heart-shaped nose and my short little tail – don't worry, I may be missing a bit of my tail, but I'm certainly not missing any personality! I'm originally from Texas, and while I'm still getting used to the colder weather, I absolutely adore snuggling up in a warm blanket next to my favorite people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm making great progress with potty training, especially with frequent potty breaks. I'm eager to learn and would love someone to teach me to be polite and how to walk nicely on a leash. I'm very treat-motivated and want to do the right thing, so I'm ready for your guidance! As a puppy, I love to play with my toys, especially bones and chew toys. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'm still working on the whole "fetch" concept and prefer to watch the bigger dogs retrieve them. I've been around people of all ages, including children, and I adore everyone! While I get excited and sometimes jump up to say hello, I'm learning to greet people politely. I've also met a cat and am a bit timid, but I think we'll become great friends. I've met some big dogs and I learn a lot from them, following their lead when it's time to stop playing. I enjoy running and playing with them in the yard. I'm hoping to find someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize what an amazing pup I am!
Ideal Home
Someone who will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and cuddle with me. I love people of all ages and am working on my greetings. I've met a cat and I'm a bit scared, but I think we'll be friends. I get along well with big dogs and learn from them.
