Sammy is a sweet and shy girl who is just learning to trust humans. She is described as "cute as a button" and is eager to learn and find her forever home. Sammy is a Shepherd mix puppy and is medium-sized. She is a rescue from North Carolina, where her mother was a feral dog who eluded traps. Sammy lived with her mom and learned from her, which has made her a bit timid. However, she is receptive to handling and is beginning to enjoy human contact.
