Princesa is a delightful 2-year-old Belgian Shepherd Mix, weighing in at 27 lbs. She's a bundle of cheerful energy, always ready for a playtime session with her favorite toys or a cozy cuddle with her human. Princesa is incredibly social and thrives on companionship, loving to explore new surroundings with boundless enthusiasm. She's a sweet, affectionate pup with a heart full of positive vibes. She does bark to let you know when she hears noises or wants something, and it's important to note that she is not good with cats. Like any dog, she prefers to eat her meals in peace without other dogs approaching her food. Princesa had a tough start, abandoned as a tiny pup and left to fend for herself for a night before being rescued. Thankfully, she found her way to a loving foster home where she began to blossom, and now she's eager to find her forever family.
Ideal Home
Princesa would thrive in a home that appreciates her playful and affectionate nature. She needs a family who understands that rescued dogs may require an adjustment period and are committed to providing patience and understanding as she settles in.
Ongoing Health
Princesa has been spayed and is up-to-date on her DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. She has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. She also received a 4DX test and certificate, a health certificate, and is on monthly preventive protection with Nexgard Spectra. Please be aware that, as with many rescued animals, she may need time to decompress and adjust to her new environment.
Training & Support
While Princesa is a bright and loving dog, it's important to understand that many rescued animals are not house-trained. She will need consistent guidance and patience to learn new routines and boundaries. Her foster family has invested time in her rehabilitation, and her new family should be prepared to continue that commitment.

Transportation
Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee.
