Chickadee

Meet Chickadee! She's a three-month-old female Chihuahua mix, born April 5, 2026. Chickadee and her family were rescued by Chi Town Rescue when she was just a week old, after a kind stranger found them with a homeless man who could no longer care for them. Chickadee is the bravest of her litter, and the only girl, though she's also the smallest at just 3.8 pounds! Unlike her shyer siblings, Chickadee is ready to explore the world and shower you with kisses and snuggles. She's a typical puppy with lots of energy and a love for playtime. Remember, adopting a puppy is a lifelong commitment; they grow into adult dogs who need love and patience as they learn manners, leash walking, and house training.

Ongoing Health

The adoption fee of $500 includes vaccinations, microchip, and future alter surgery at the PAWS clinic. Puppies are typically altered around five months of age, which aids in hormone development and bone growth. Adopters will sign a contract agreeing to bring their puppy to the PAWS clinic for spay/neuter surgery in September 2026.

Training & Support

Puppies require patience to learn good doggy manners, leash training, and house training.
