Aspen - URGENT

Aspen is a sweet, 1-year-old Shepherd mix who is urgently in need of a loving home. She's currently at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and has been waiting for her forever family since June 12, 2026. The shelter environment is incredibly difficult for dogs, with over 300 animals housed in cramped conditions, putting them at high risk due to limited space. Aspen deserves a second chance at happiness, and we're hopeful someone will open their heart and home to her.

Aspen is looking for a home where she can feel safe and loved. As the shelter is over capacity and lacks outdoor runs, any home that can provide her with space to relax and play would be ideal.
