Chavo

Chavo is a sweet and friendly adult male Labrador Retriever who arrived at the shelter as a stray on June 16th. He was found with visible wounds on his left rear leg and was at risk due to overcrowding and the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. Despite his initial nervousness and fear, Chavo has shown himself to be a very loving dog. He has been kenneled with other dogs during his stay and has gotten along wonderfully with them all.

Ideal Home

Chavo would thrive in a home where he can feel safe and loved, especially given his past experiences.

Ongoing Health

Chavo had visible wounds on his left rear leg upon arrival. He has been neutered.

Training & Support

Chavo was described as nervous, anxious, and fearful upon arrival, but has shown a sweet and friendly demeanor. He has done well with other dogs in the shelter.
