Honey

Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and silly 6-year-old terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She's the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, making her an ideal cuddle bug and a wonderful work-from-home companion. Honey Comb loves to be by your side, whether you're watching TV or reading a book, always finding a way to stay close. She's also independent, content to entertain herself with a chew toy or puzzle while you're busy. When it's time for fun, she's always ready for zoomies, neighborhood walks, car rides, and puzzle toys. Honey Comb is great with kids and loves meeting new people, always greeting them with a big smile and a wagging tail, especially if belly rubs are involved! She has excellent manners, is smart, and learns routines quickly, even showing respect for food left out. Honey Comb is ready to find a family who will cherish her affection, sweet personality, and loyal companionship.

Ideal Home

Honey Comb would thrive in a home where she can spend plenty of quality time with her people. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her to play fetch and sunbathe. She would prefer a quieter suburban or rural area for enjoying nature trails and hikes. She needs to be the only pet in the home, and a feline-free environment is recommended. She is recommended for homes with children aged 4 and up, as she may accidentally bump smaller children with her happy tail.

Ongoing Health

Honey Comb is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian and has received any necessary vet care while in our care.

Training & Support

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She walks beautifully on a leash during quiet, peaceful walks. She will tap dance by the door to communicate when she needs to potty and will not have accidents in the house, even when left alone for a full workday. She is not destructive and can be trusted alone.

Transportation

Honey Comb is in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations; please visit www.loveandpuppypawsdogrescue.com/transport-locations for more information. Monthly transports are available, and adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Dogs are adopted prior to transport, and meet-and-greets are not possible due to transport distances.
